Napa Valley’s most coveted and rare wines are set to be released on November 9th during Premiere Napa Valley Release Week. The week is marked with online wine offerings, educational events, and virtual tastings around the globe.
Premiere Napa Valley Release Week
The Napa Valley Vintners celebrate the latest release of Napa Valley’s greatest wines. 150 Napa Valley winemakers create remarkable lots of wine for Premiere Napa Valley. The wines are always unique and interesting. When else are you going to see a wine that Thomas River Brown makes by blending 3 wines from 3 completely separate wineries?
Each year, member wineries like Silver Oak, Hourglass, Cain and many others, create a special lot for the trade-only Premiere Auction that takes place in February. At that auction, wine buyers come from around the world to bid on these lots. Not only are the wines unique, but there is only 1 lot per winery that goes up for auction in February and these lots are either 5, 10, or 20 case lots. These micro-lots are one of a kind wines, that are blends, single vineyards, single variety or special winemakers project that will never be made again. These wines are released this week.
Innovation is what drives these wines and drives the winemakers of Napa Valley. Due to the limited and small production, winemakers get highly creative and make very unique wines that are quite different from their normal offerings. Presenting their wines in an artisanal manner.
Every November the latest release of Premiere Napa Valley wines hit the market. This is an opportunity for collectors to purchase these wines for their cellars. You too can build out your Napa Valley collection with these never to be replicated wines. The wines are limited edition with hand numbers and are signed by the winemaker. You can search these one-of-a-kind wines by vintage, grape variety, AVA and winery. The purchase links will go live today, November 9, 2020.
